Funniest video game?

Comedy is not often associated with video games (at least not for me).

But what are some video games or video game moments that you found genuinely funny?

For me, High on Life by the Rick and Morty creators was definitely one of them.

I didn't play GTA V but I happen to see some funny clips on youtube from time to time.

I know South Park humor can be very hit or miss for some but The Stick of Truth and at times Fractured but Whole had me laughing out loud.

I also appreciated the simple humor of the Ratchet and Clank series.

I played the Stick of Truth through tears of laughter. South Park is definitely hit or miss, but they absolutely nailed the video game medium for their comedy.

I’ve never played it but I think Conker’s Bad Fur Day probably deserves at least an honourable mention.

No One Lives Forever

I've wanted to play that for a long time. I hope they remaster or remake it

I think those point and click games are funny. I’m talking about stuff like Sam and Max, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, etc. These were the games that made me laugh the most. Also it’s not really considered a point and click game but Thank Goodness You’re Here is a silly game although it’s extremely British in its humor.

I have it on my PC, not on Steam obviously but kept it from an old download, might be able to find it on a torrent site.

And fuck yes that game needs a remaster, one of the few games that I actually want a new version of, that would be awesome.

GTA for sure. Some of the lines the pedestrians make are really funny, especially in San Andreas/Vice City.

Some of the radio commercials and radio talk shows were gold.

I loved Bas Rutten's show in GTA IV.


Postal was bonkers too, but more crude.

The Stanley Parable was pretty damn funny at times, loved the narrator.

Yeah, I came here specifically to say Stick of Truth. That's hands down the funniest game I've ever played. Fractured But Whole was pretty good as well, but I felt Stick of Truth had more outrageous laugh-out-loud moments.

The Stanley Parable looked good, just haven't picked it up.

That Bas show was great. I think the most memorable pedestrian lines for me was a conversation that went,

"Have you ever fucked a cat in the ass?"

"See you later alligator."

Never played a game that made me truly laugh because it was so funny but Borderlands 2 was highly amusing. I loved everything about that game. Easily top 5 or higher. I rate Borderlands 2 as the best comedy game for my opinion.
