Since it's been 2 weeks and we are still in break week and we are getting bored, let's have some fun with MMA's UFC Trivia's (I know this one will be long but thanks for reading):

1-Andrei Arlovski's first Loss and last Loss in the UFC both happened in 29th June, plus he was the last Gen X fighter to be with the UFC until his last fight happened at UFC 303 and his contract with the UFC ended after that.

2- Before Glover vs Jan title fight, Jan's last loss was Glover's last win, and ironically, Glover's last loss was Jan's last win before getting a title shot

3-When Raquel became champion, that makes Holly Holm have wins over 2 UFC champs in Ronda and Raquel

4-In the event in when Max KO'd Justin which was UFC 300, he beat him on the same day he lost to Poirier a second time in 2019 at UFC 236 which is 13th April. Also for the same event (UFC 300), when Zhang beat Yan as both are from same country (China), it was her 5th title fight win, just like Joanna when she beat Karolina whom both are from the same country (Poland).

5-Glover Teixeira was the last GenXer to be a UFC Champion, and he became oldest 1st time champ, coincidentally, it happened at UFC 267, which is almost 200 UFC's from UFC 68 in which Randy became oldest champion in UFC history and we can consider it 200 UFC's since next week, UFC 268 happened.

6-When Julianna Pena upset Amanda Nunes and it was considered to be biggest Upset in UFC history or the Serra/GSP 1 of WMMA in the UFC or one of the biggest upsets in UFC history (since Holly vs Ronda is still considered a bigger one), it happened at UFC 269, which is almost 200 UFC's from UFC 69 in which Serra beat GSP and did the biggest upset in UFC history or in a UFC title fight history.

7-Randy Couture is the only fighter to have 3 reigns in a single division, fighters such as Dominick Cruz, T.J. Dillashaw, Israel Adesanya and Stipe Miocic failed to catch up to that record, he's also tied for most HW title bouts in UFC history of 9 along with Tim Sylvia and Stipe Miocic. Also Randy Couture is coincidentally the 3rd undisputed champion at both HW and LHW.

8-UFC 217 is one of the rare PPV events to have had 3 title fights in it, but it is the only event to have all it's 3 champs losing their titles, first title fight, it's champion (Joanna) lost it in the first round at at 3:03 also coincidentally, Rose's gym is 303 Training Center and it was Rose's first reign, the second title fight ended in the 2nd round, it's champion (Cody) lost it in the 2nd round and it was Dillashaw's 2nd title reign, the third title fight ended in the 3rd round, it's champion (Bisping) lost it in the 3rd round and it was GSP's 4th reign (it can be counted as 3rd reign if not counting his interim title fight win since some fans don't want to count interim title wins as a championship win but a No. 1 contention glorification), and coincidentally, UFC 217 was in 2017, 2+1+7 is same result as 2+0+1+7 which both = 10.

9-The only times DC suffered Knockout losses to Jon and Stipe, it happened at UFC 214 and UFC 241 respectively, and it was against 2 of the sports' all time greats and between 2 of the guys that beat him up twice and between 2 of the best in their divisions, one of them is the undisputed best in his division which is Jon at LHW and the other is one of the best in his division's history which is Stipe, Stipe is one of MMA's best HW's ever but he's the best HW in UFC history by far.

10-ilia Topuria is the first and only GenZer by far to become a UFC Champion, it happened in 2024.

11-GSP is the first GenYer/millennial champion in UFC history, he did it in 2006 and his reign as a UFC GOAT started in 2008, that's 16 years from ilia's reign in the UFC, and coincidentally, every generation period is 16 years since Gen X (Gen X 1965-1980, Gen Y 1981-1996 and Gen Z 1997-2012) and also GSP is 16 years older than ilia.

12-Every time a Woman became a UFC champion from dethroning a former champion, it all happened by finishes until Carla Esparza broke that curse by becoming first Female champion to dethrone a Female champion by decision then Amanda Nunes followed her against Julianna Pena and both became 2nd and 3rd Women champs in UFC history to regain their titles (with Rose being 1st Female UFC fighter to regain a UFC title with her title win finish against Zhang).

13-There were 2 HW patterns that was happening until Jon Jones came in and broke it, the 2 HW patterns were that HW trilogies and HW rematches, HW trilogies in UFC happening every 7 years since 2006, Sylvia vs Arlovski 2, Cain vs JDS 2 and Stipe vs DC 2, and HW rematches patterns were the following: 2014-2017 Stipe and JDS rematch, 2018-2021 Stipe and Francis rematch and 2022 Gane and Francis, saldy with Francis not in the UFC, that pattern stopped right there.

14-Stipe Miocic and Tim Sylvia are the only 2 UFC HW champions to have defended their UFC titles in all of their title reigns, the other HW champs who regained their titles in Cain and Randy couldn't do that.

15-So far, there has only been 8 UFC events to have in it 3 title fights throughout 319 UFC's by far, UFC 33, UFC 205, UFC 214, UFC 217, UFC 245, UFC 251, UFC 259 and UFC 261, last UFC event to have had 3 title fights was UFC 261 (UFC 300 don't count cause symbolic BMF belt bouts don't count ofc).

16-Every time Paulo Costa fought in a UFC PPV event that had a title fight(s), the champ(s) that were fighting in these events lost their titles with the exception of Islam Makhachev breaking that curse at UFC 302.

17-Ever Since Caio Borralho fought, there has been 9 titles changed hands, 7 becoming new champions from dethroning the champs (Merab vs O'Malley 1, Valentina vs Grasso 3, Pena vs Raquel, Ankalaev vs Pereira 1, JDM vs Belal, Kayla vs Pena and Khamzat vs DDP) and 2 crowned from a vacant title (Volkanovski vs Lopes and ilia vs Oliveira).

18-Brock Lesnar and Alex Pereira are the 2 fighters with the fewest MMA Bouts to become UFC Champs, with Lesnar doing it and his record was 3-1 and Alex's record was 7-1 (Nicco Montano don't count since she fought in TUF but her professional record when she became champion was 4-2). Also Mark Coleman was 6-0 when he became UFC Champion, and Randy Couture won his UFC title and his record 4-0. Also Mark Coleman and Randy Couture were the only 2 HOF'ers to fight each other in the UFC.

19-Khamzat and Loopy Godinez are the 2 fighters who broke the records for quickest turnarounds in UFC history, with Khamzat returning after 14 days and Loopy returning in 7 days but the difference is: Khamzat broke the record for fastest consecutive wins in Modern UFC history and Record for quickest three fight win streak in Modern UFC history while Loopy had the Record for shortest span between three fights in Modern UFC history and she's also the First and only woman to win four fights in a calendar year in UFC history.

20-The number of UFC fighters who won titles while having perfect MMA records are 17, and these fighters are: Mark Coleman, Randy Couture, Tim Sylvia, Shane Carwin (Interim title), Cain Velasquez, Ciryl Gane (interim title), Rashad Evans, Lyoto Machida, Chris Weidman, Israel Adesanya, Khamzat Chimaev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, ilia Topuria, Cody Garbrandt, Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm and Joanna Jedrzejczyk. And the number of UFC fighters who won titles while having perfect UFC record (including the 17 that I mentioned with perfect UFC records but I won't count them in the new list since they're already mentioned) are 29 but overall 46, and these fighters are: Maurice Smith (First UFC fight), Bas Rutten (on his 2nd UFC fight), Ricco Rodriguez, Big Nog (on his 2nd UFC fight and it was for interim title), JDS, Frank Shamrock, Rampage Jackson (on his 2nd UFC fight), Jiri Prochzka (on his 3rd UFC fight), Dave Menne (2nd UFC fight), Rich Franklin (4th UFC fight), Anderson Silva (2nd UFC fight), Alex Pereira (4th UFC fight), DDP, Pat Miletich (3rd UFC fight), Kamaru Usman, JDM, Jens Pulver (2nd UFC fight), Benson Henderson (4th UFC fight), Conor McGregor, Islam Makhachev, Jose Aldo, Alexander Volkanovski, Dominick Cruz, Renan Barao, Petr Yan, Kayla Harrison (3rd UFC fight), Nicco Montano (First UFC fight on her pro MMA Record), Carla Esparza (First UFC fight on her pro MMA Record) and Zhang Weili (4th UFC fight).

21-Khabib is the only fighter in MMA History to have won a UFC title and retire undefeated after having fought in the UFC and had some fights in the UFC.

22-The only 2 title fights in UFC history between 2 undefeated fighters were Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida and Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa.

23-Also There's times when MMA fighters started MMA on other MMA fighters' birthdays that link to them, Tony Ferguson and Jon Jones started MMA on Ciryl Gane's birthday (April 12th) and both started in same year 2008 and we know that Gane was Jon's easiest opponent in his history of title fights and beat him in the most humiliating way possible, Robbie Lawler started on Tyron Woodley birthday and T-Wood was the guy that beat Robbie Lawler for the title, Randy Couture started MMA on Lyoto Machida's birthday whom was Randy's final opponent, Mirko Cro Cop started MMA on the man who'd idolize him in the future Stipe Miocic's birthday.

And that's some of what I know, I worked for hours to put it all together and remember some of them so plz show appreciation by taking the time to read and tell me your thoughts/opinions, Anything I missed? what any Trivia's you'd add? drop your answers, and be plz be polite and no trolling, thanks, peace, have a lovely day y'all.

Interesting list... for number 18, Mark Coleman was 5-0 when he won the UFC title in his sixth fight against Dan Severn.

Yes, and he became 6-0 after he became champion, that's why I put him among those who won title undefeated.

Edit: Hmmmm I saw what you did there, amazing eye, man, also we shouldn't forget Randy Couture, Wikipedia tweaking again, man, they give Lesnar and Poatan credit but they totally forget Mark Coleman and Randy Couture whom also were the only 2 HOF'ers to fight each other in the UFC.

I know I know, I'm sorry 🤣 trust me, it wasn't easy and it was tiring too.
Also I didn't know that there are so many Sherbros who are ADHD'ers, like, I myself kinda have it, and whenever I see an essay whether on Sherdog or Reddit, at least I try my best to read it as much as I can if not reading all of it, I swear to God. But it is what it is.

Favourite one for me is Brian Bowles.

Fought Damacio Page @ WEC 35, won by Guillotine @ 3:30 of Round 1

He rematched Page @ UFC: Sanchez v Kampmann and won by Guillotine @ 3:30 of Round 1

What are the odds of that???

Thanks, and thank you for the interesting list.
Also good call about Randy. For whatever reason in my mind I put the Japan fights before he won the belt and not afterwards, completely forgetting that was the only reason Bas was able to win it via tourney. Love Bas, but do not think he would be able to beat Couture.

Yeah, there's a difference between the fighter who finished Kevin Randleman and the man who went to a close Split Decision with him.
