You misunderstand what was happening there.

They staged a rally so they could put up a fake quote claiming that Hillary supported Sharia law. This was done to hurt her, not help her, since the supposed advocacy of Sharia law would bring out more support against her.

I think the "Support Hillary. Save American Muslims." thing might be confusing to some. It's an attempt to associate Hildawg & radical Islam. This aspect of the whole debacle was news late last year.
