I prefer French toast, but appreciate the more neutral platform that pancakes provide. If I’m looking for a carb heavy breakfast, I’m ordering French toast over pancakes pretty much every time.

a perfect crepe however gives great French toast a run for its money.

Literally no one in France knows what French Toasts are.

They call it Pain Perdu and it is utilised as a way of not throwing the old bread to the trash once it is too hard to eat.


And yes.. Pain Perd/French Toasts with dulce de leche are the best thing in the world.

I agree, tastes way better especially with the cinnamon sprinkled on top and whip cream and berries and a side of bacon/sausage and scrambled eggs.

I love french toast, Im surprised that most people haven't eaten french toast. I was shocked in college when we went on a school trip for theater production and I ordered French toast for breakfast only two other people actually ate French toast before, they only had pancakes.

The only downside of eating freshly made french toast, pancakes or waffles is if its under cooked you will get cramps and run to th restroom taking a massive dump.
