FrankieNYC RIP

I'm a long time lurker, however, I've always read Frankie's posts with a keen interest. Truly terrible news. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Was avoiding to post because of the chance of it being not true.

RIP. He made major contributions to the forum. I mentioned him in honorable mentions of poster of the year threads many years

Unfortunate. Is this 100% confirmed really? 40 pages long i didnt find any details. only that he was posting hours before, which is strange and sheds some hope
<{chips}> otherwise, sad indeed

Respect. Journey well Frankie.

@HHJ Thanks for notifying everyone so they could give him this proper sendoff.

I never saw that much love here for anybody including fighters...Being a good guy is just another level than anything...Our lives are like dream when we die we wake up and start the real life I hope this guy does well in his real life...

Will miss his posts. Great personality, too. R.I.P brother.

Man this is starting to feel real... Fuck.

I wrote this about Frankie a couple of months ago in a Luke Thomas hate thread.

You know who would make a better Luke Thomas than Luke Thomas? @FrankieNYC would. I caught him on a podcast the other week, and it really was amazing to hear someone that knows the business so well from various angles of marketing, training, promotion, and history, all researched out of self interest... Blew the most of these "MMA journalists" away in an an assuming, yet authorative way... Been thinking about it ever since - how many other Sherdoggers are that knowledgeable?

Everyone liked the dude... Getting a like or a compliment from him made you feel better about your own posting on here... Respected by all, disliked by none.

Rest in peace sherdog brother. You brought alot of positives to our community we won't soon forget.

Seemed like a very solid poster. Wishing his family and friends the best.

so ironic his last words here were "@Arqueto176 sorry about your loss man"

he cared about someone elses loss minutes before his own

To me his content on here really was something to look forward to. Like a quality article in a real journal
