FrankieNYC RIP

It's just the first stages of Grief, shock and denial.

I always read the dudes posts cause they had substance and thought behind them.

For some it is. But then the dude was still right, if you deny it you deny the nature of death. You don't always see it coming. It's not meant disrespectful to say that they don't understand it. It's more a way to teach them to adjust their view of life and death

Still some people are automatic cynics about anything even without good reason. There was a dude who didn't even know him but already said he didn't believe it. It wasn't part of grief for him.

Yes its a bit annoying. Lots of Eddie Bravos in here. Denying whats right in front of their face, just on knee jerk paranoid principle

Man, this sucks a lot. He was a good dude, knowledgeable, passionate and fun.

Dude don’t hate on Bravo until you’ve looked into it.

Man that sucks, I'm a casual poster and even I could see he was one of the coolest guys on the site.

R.I.P wherever you are.

This thread should be a sticky so we can pay him our respects

I always read FrankieNYC's posts and was fortunate to interact with him a bit on this forum. He was a genuine standout. Always approachable. He took the time to educate people about the business of MMA.

Frankie enjoyed communicating with people here. He provided a lot of information in a collegial manner. If someone asked a question he usually tried to answer it without being condescending. He had a great sense of humor. That is what I'll miss most. To those who knew him well, I'm sorry for your loss.

Our time on earth is short. At this forum even shorter. We honor him by being friendly with one another about our shared passions. Rest in peace FrankieNYC.

Thread shows how amazing the MMA community and sherdog can be.
Frankie won't be forgotten on here and
Despite our differences in opinions we all share the same passion.

WOW. from all my interactions with him, he was such a great guy. my thoughts are with him, and those he surrounded himself with.

Hardly ever interacted with him directly but he was a solid poster, and one that made me feel bad about not finding nicer ways of saying things to my fellow sherdoggers. I don't think I ever witnessed him being anything other than friendly and respectful.
Quality guy. The world's a little worse than it was.

I think this should be an eye opener for everyone and respect each other more often because tommorow is never promised

I came back to this thread and kept refreshing the pages last night in hopes that it wasn’t true.

This was a real quality dude, truly was one of the best posters this place has ever had. RIP
