FrankieNYC RIP

Overall a solid poster who brought a special branch of knowledge to the forums, and he seemed like a decent guy who was pleasant most of the time with a lot of other posters. He is/was a recognizable figure on here.

A shame to see a fellow poster go this early.
 
Found another one, a bottle & a can both Michelob Ultra. Having not drank in ages 24 ounces of this piss water might be enough to get buzzed if my tolerance is next to nothing. Which it should be at this point <28>

Do you know his real name or anything else? I don't mean to post it on here but perhaps if you know more than most of us, you're in a better position to find out if this is true or not. A lot of us are still hoping it's not.
 
As a relative noob poster, I can't say I knew him or had as much insight as to who he was as many of you do, but what I can say is that his posts were a nice break from the usual shitposts, petty arguments, and generally pointless content posted daily. I mentioned previously that there are some genuinely solid posters bringing knowledge daily, and though I didn't mention hom by name, I was thinking of him and a few select others. This will be a real loss for the Sherdog community. Though I'm not a religious person, I hope he's drinking cold ones in the sky. RIP.

Awful news. RIP FrankieNYC, I have enjoyed many posts from this guy over the years.
One of the best posters ever on Sherdog because he actually would do research and produce facts.

Also a big "FUCK YOU" to those posters who continuously bullied him over the years, calling him a "UFC shill", trying to silence him.
 
This is terribly depressing. Can Sherdog confirm this? Would like to put a donation towards his family if he has any children.

I celebrated my twin boys first birthdays today and after was able to turn on WrestleMania. It was one of those days where everything seemed to be going right in the world.

This is a reminder that things can change in a blink of an eye though. Frankie was a great poster, always appreciated his special knowledge he brought to the sport and I think he always got a bit of a kick out of my aggressive attempts at "cheapness" in regards to spending. Spent a lot of time debating the health of the sport and Org's with him. He clearly was more prepared for our disagreements where mine were more "just my thoughts" yet he always took the time to explain himself and why he felt I was wrong in a civil manner. The board is taking a big hit today.

With Frankie being a big Wrestling guy, it's sad that he wasn't able to enjoy WrestleMania tonight.
 
He was honestly one of the best posters ever on sherdog. He had a great knowledge of the inner workings of the UFC
 
Been on here a while now and although I'm not as active of a poster as some, FrankieNYC was always one of the handful of you guys on here that stood out.

My thoughts go out to those of you that were friends of his on here and to all those who surrounded him in life. RIP
 
Didnt know him well but he's been a regular on here for some time and strangely his name stuck out to me more than normal the other nite. Like most people just come here to shoot the shit and have a few laughs with common minded people who appreciate combat sports - heres to yas Frankie, hope your at peace

Who was the guy with the Randy Couture av? Ejaxxx or something like that? I believe he passed away too
