Conor has very little chance in getting a title in Welterweight, and the odds of winning a lightweight title is also stacked against him. Edgar on the other hand, has a very good shot at winning the featherweight title. In fact I think he beats Conor more than 50% if he is the one getting the title shot. Edgar can also cut to 135 and I would favor him over all the fighters there.

Agreed. If there were an atom weight he would have a chance at 4 weight classes. He is going to destroy Connor, mark my words. He would also beat Domick and DJ but would rather be a man and fight in the higher classes.

Cruz would most likely outpoint him. He has a better chance against Dillashaw since he will actually sit down on his punches.

I've been saying for years, if pound-for-pound actually meant what it is "intended" to mean, frankie would be number one on everyone's list.

That being said, he's not the only one. The top three guys at MW, Rockhold, Weidman, and Yoel, would all be legit top fives at LHW or HW, I wouldn't favor any of them over Jones or Werdum, but I think they are as tough of fights as any of the top contenders in those weightclasses.

Yoel seems too small for HW top 5, I mean Cain is small too but his trump card is his cardio, Yoel... the other 2 I could see a little better but still seem like they could be too naturally light.

I'd give Rockhold and Weidman a shot at LHW, but I couldn't see either lasting a round with Stipe

I see Frankie having a hard time with McGregor. He doesn't have Nate's reach and Conor has very good timing and could easily catch Frankie moving in to land shots.

Top 10 lhw yeah, but favored over Jones and werdum?

I honestly see Frankie as a top 5 p4p GOAT. If he fights Cruz I think he dominates. The only thing standing in his way is time, and Dana playing favourites

I don't know how he can beat Cruz

The thing with Yoel is his cardio, though. The guy (whether you think he's clean or not) is absolutely a late-fight fighter. Against most heavyweights, if he makes it out the first round, he's gonna take over. Plus, his wrestling credentials are absolutely top tier. No doubt in my mind he could beat any of non-wrestling oriented heavyweights like Werdum, Dos Santos, Andrei or Overeem. He'd be a rightful underdog, but a damn live dog.

I think he is definitely one of the few who can accomplish that feat. What's funny though is he doesn't seem too thrilled about the idea. I get that he needs the Featherweight belt first though and he probably wants to defend it a couple of times.

I don't think so, Remember Aldo before gassing was way faster than Frankie, Dom would be too fast for him

frankie doesnt deserve a title shot at any weight for hanging out with terrorists such as The Crown Prince of Bahrain
Frankie should be on a CIA watchlist not a title shot contender list

I hope he gets the 145lb belt, then goes after the 135lb. That would be sick.

Let's be real. The LW division became tougher even for Bendo. Bendo outgrappled Edgar and would have had a better chance to regain the LW title. Edgar has No shot whatsoever and that's not a knock against him at all. Put Edgar against Cerrone first and see if he fares as well as Bendo did last year.

No one ever takes Aldo down, I think Frankie could just put Dom on his back at will if they fight

The 2nd fight is widely accepted as the biggest robbery in MMA history, I really didn't see Bendo outgrapple Edgar at all
