No I haven't. I've seen some crazy shit upclose, like my AV photo. I was about 3 feet away from the frog when I snapped the photo of it eating the bird. Totally crazy, but I can kind of explain it a little possibly. It looks like the focal lineup was off a little. When you shoot in certain light settings, especially darker ones. The trick usually is to turn your ISO up but also open up your lens. Being sports photographers, they are probably using lenses with a 1.4 to a 1.2 aperture. So it doesn't always draw in stuff as sharply as what's in that main focusing plain/area.

Take a look at his shoulder. Right at the top his tattoo is drawn in crisp and pretty clear, but as you go down the arm notice it starts to get fuzzy, even the detail on the one tattoo with the helmet. If you look at the line work on the hand holding the sword, it's fuzzy and soft. They even begin to blend in together at some point. You still see them but they got a faded look, even the hair on his right forearm, some you can barely see because of how off from the focal spot it is distance wise, but there could also be slight movement in his arm. It might not be hugely obvious, but just a small tiny amount of movement, even less then 1mm, can add a softness/fuzziness to a photo or limb/object. Depending what moved, the photographers hand or the object being photographed

Now when you take that into account along with his face probably moving so fast in that moment of the shot it probably looks like it (eyebrows) wasn't drawn in, but if the lighting was better, you could shoot with a more closed aperture, maybe even a 7, and then his brows may appear, or with a brighter light you could shoot with a faster shutter speed stopping his face even better to where that effect doesn't happen.

Those are probably the reasons why it's like that, but it is truly weird. I ain't gonna lie.
 
I think the Shad face has finally been dethroned.
