In a fight, my opponent is trying to hurt me. It makes sense to continue, we do have refs for a reason. It's cringe worthy when someone takes a shot at someone who's completely out, but understandable, I can't say I wouldn't do the same.

Everyone posting in this thread that "fighters should know when to stop blah blah blah" I hope every single one of you has been in fights and is speaking from experience, but even if you are you can't know what any other person's thought process/experience is in those situations. Some guys are obviously aware enough to stop when a guy is out, others seem to be in the murder zone until the ref physically drags them off the guy.

What with so many Sherdoggers having been in attendance at UFC 1, I can't believe so many of you haven't seen this. The fight is 7 years old and was a big deal at the time. Trigg was supposed to be washed up after losing to the no name Carlos Condit and shocked everyone by smashing Mayhem and Misaki at MW.

I can't find the post-fight interview that sparked a shit storm on these boards when Robbie admitted it was 100% intentional, that he knew the fight was over and that he wouldn't have done it to a cooler opponent like Falaniko Vitale.
