Very effective, simple move.

But in rolling, it's a move that you want to be very very careful with. A little ego and.or carelessness can mess up a partners meniscus.

Meniscal injuries tend to be due to twisting at the knee joint... I would have thought cruciate lig...

There's alot of things that can be injured by a kneebar, the meniscus being just one of them.
