Francis Ngannou world record sham.

It's a hype thing. He scored the highest on a hi tech punching machine, and the UFC are making it a bigger deal than it actually is.

For what its worth, Tyrone Spong had the previous high score.

A world record is the top recorded score/time at a given activity.

Just because not many people have done it doesn't mean it isn't a world record.

Hell I'm sure TS is happy with the world record for the most ping-pong balls inserted into your rectum, but most people wouldn't even try.

Only an autist would care one way or the other.

Grow up.

Apparently the previous hardest punch measured at the PI was from Tyrone Spong.
I'm skeptical that Francis is the hardest puncher in the world, but Spong is a monster.

U think spongnis. Monster but question Francis ? Lmfao name one fighter who punch harder and have more brutal one punch KOd then Francis

Exactly. They had one of those machines for that one fight science TV show, PI has one...and I'm guessing not too many.
And what those 129.161 units are I had to find on some Reddit page which points me to some crappy site that looks to be from the machines manufacturer. Oops..I mean "dedicated research and product development organisation working in the area of sport science "

Well there you go

Previous record holder Strongman competitor Jake Pacer Allen with 94k ( Fiat 500 power )

The world record on those punching ball machines you have at fairs is probably more reliable just by sheer sample size.

They came up with their own unit of measurement, because Newtons suck blahblah.
Their explanation seems kind of wooey to me. I mean in essence we're hitting a pressure sensor (array) much like the one you find in scales right ??? Why the hell would we need Newtons for that anyway, but now we need Franklins because object density science quantum woo.

So yeah

No need to bring this up again. We get it, the UFC is not so honest when they're hyping someone up.

Its more surprising that no MMA pundit or "journalist" ever questioned any of this. Not even a slightest "Jamie, pull that up" on JRE.

This is marketing to sell this fight.

The UFC top contender and favorite to become champion measured the hardest punch on the planet at a UFC facility with UFC equipment?

OK then sounds good.

I believe he has the hardest punch in the UFC, but as long as no high caliber HW boxers are being measured at the UFC institute the phrase: "strongest strike ever measured" is very misleading. People with less than 3 braincells are falling for it same as they fell for Ronda beating men.

They're just selling some shit, like no one really believes it.

It's like "no one can take that left"

It's the world record.

On their personal device.

That only UFC fighters and camps have access to.

He has the hardest registered punch in that machine I don't know why people find this so hard to believe and try to nit pick it. Tyron sponge had the record before him and he beat it. As a promoter you would be stupid to not promote that about your fighter.

True.
Looks like Joe Rogan with 43k bare knucle hits harder than McGreggory.

They found out that he was elite than the elitest!
