I think Ngannou wins this fight handily. Wilder will break mentally if Ngannou bullies him with the weight and clinching. Being worn out and then having to deal with power comparable to his own is a worse matchup than Fury was.

Francis will improve his technique even more and this can be a simple outclassing.

I think Wilder wins.

First of all, I don't buy the hype that Ngannou is the hardest puncher.

Wilder gets clean-count outs, for several minutes, with big boxing gloves on, and his punches are way faster than Ngannou's.

Jonny boy was crying about lack of respect from the UFC but the guy bent the knee asap when he was show a couple millions.

His offer to fight Jones was round 8 mill, vs Fury he reportedly made 10 mill. So there isn't much difference there. I don't know where this idea is coming from the UFC wasn't paying Francis. He was clear it wasn't about the money. He even said he was upset cause that what they did, just throw money at him.

Is there something Ngannou could do at this point to significantly increase his cardio to go for 12 rounds? He did ok in 10 tho, but i feel like he got tired and went into energy saving mode minus 8th round

Well, he did weigh a record 272lbs for Fury. Always below 260 in MMA (257 against Gane). You could argue the added size helped in the clinch, but he'd outmuscle Fury at 255 or whatever weight. And Wilder is much lighter and not as tall as Fury.
Maybe dropping a bit of muscle could help his tank. And he sure as hell has enough power.
This is the most dangerous fight for Francis IMO.
That nuke can put any man down. Either guy can KO any man.

Outside of Jones, there is no one interesting for Ngannou to fight in MMA. I'd say just keep boxing until the juice runs out. If he can sneak in a gimme MMA fight in the PFL for a bit of hype, that might be worth it but it's a gamble.
