Dana also likes money. Francis vs Jon is a big fight, especially if Jon beats Stipe too.

He likes money, but he doesn't need Ngannou to make it. Not right now, anyways. Ngannou isn't a guy who prints money on his name value. He's not a superstar that can fuck with the UFC's marketing machine. He could let Ngannou beg to fight Jones from the sidelines, and not lose a dime. It would take a lot to bring him back, like going on a big streak in another company, but odds are that he'll eventually lose to someone and become lost in the shuffle.

It was a bad move on Ngannou's part. He's gonna find out just how big and important to one's star power the UFC really is. Especially when a legit superstar like Jon Jones takes your spot.

No worries, Dana's plan left Pico protected. Francis beat ALL the HW threats boneless hid from for 3 years, AND still will NEVER fight them. His shameless last 3 years ducking the entire top 10 in the HW division showed his cowardice, sheltered and allowed by Dana. F'n pitiful.
