I still think there's a chance this fight happens instead of Stipe. Promoting is an art form. Maybe getting released was promotional genius. Stipe was about as excited/exciting as a wet cardboard box after that fight.

Ngannou's stock just went down a bit last night. I hope he can still get that big payday outside the UFC. If he can, and manages to not get embarrassed, the Jones/Ngannou fight could still be a big deal. Unfortunately, outside MMA, I'm afraid Ngannou will get embarrassed and the fight will either never happen, or if it does, it will have lost much of it's current appeal.
