Francis Ngannou open to a UFC comeback per Eric Nicksick

Hed have to get on his knees and kiss Danas ring for that to happen. So I dont think it will. Jones would just duck anyway.
Doubtful that jones would duck. Frank isn’t Tom. Jones watched Francis vs Gane.

im not sure some of you have jobs or work anywhere with any meaning

why on earth would an employer bring back someone who was an absolute PITA to deal with, regardless of the finances, the hassle having to deal with a really shit employee is insane, and this was played out publicly the first time

he got what he wanted, 2 nice paydays
lol he didn’t get paid anywhere close to what you think. Francis was literally a stage prop. Those chairman of Africa paychecks tho!!! lol

It wasn't corporate then. Different generation.
Frank is never coming back, is already old and has been brutally knocked out. Lost two boxing fights, won against a can in PFL. Offers no value to the UFC outside of a boost of 12k PPVs. You're thinking like a fan, not like a soulless corporate android.

Francis is literally worth more to the UFC being a broken arrow shaft in PFL's side than he'll ever give them as a fighter. Sad truth.

The other thing you guys forget is setting precedence. If you let him come back, you'll deal with 20 diva champs in the future, blackballing Frank shows that the company doesn't care how many guys you can KO, play ball or enjoy being PFL champion.

There's some value to what you said but it's A, based on what they can resign him for and B, how they can utilize him. Francis has a great highlight reel which makes him marketable and having him get his ass Whooped by Tom would boost their next big HW name and help everyone move past Jones. Now frank may not take a low ball offer, sure but there's no doubt in my mind that if the UFC can see a ROI on this, they will take it.

Yeah this isn't Enter the Dragon where the fighters are trapped on some island forced to fight.

If by some miracle they ever did a deal its going to be longer than 3 fights. They will lock him in. Jones signed a 8 fight deal right before the Gane fight. UFC will not make the same mistake with Ngannou twice.

Main issue as you mentioned earlier is Ngannou probably will not be active as he is wealthy now and older. He will be closer like a Jones 2.0 which given the shit state of the division is better than nothing.

I still have major doubts they can get the deal done. If Ngannou just did the Tyson fight and the PFL Renan fight I can see major pressure to get him in and Ngannou having bargaining power. The Joshua fight really fucks things up. This is the outcome what the UFC did not want all along with the boxing thing....their HW champ getting brutally slept in 2 rounds. They did it with the McGregor/Mayweather as that was #2 or close to the biggest fight in history and a retired smaller Mayweather wasn't going to KO Conor like that. But they did not want anything to do with their HW champ fighting bigger active HW champs for far less money. Now that Ngannou has a lot of money I don't see him wanting to come negioate down to get into the UFC at this stage. I would like to be wrong on this but I don't think they get this done.

This is my first time seeing that. If it wasn't for his right leg bending the way it did, I'd almost be convinced that for some reason Ngannou made a free will choice to lie down and take a nap mid-fight. It realy does look like that's what he's thinking.
