Knocked out Overeem. Knocked out Velasquez. He is still relatively inexperienced and has not even entered his prime yet.

Is Francis the next Jon Jones of the heavyweight division? He is nearly unbeatable at this point.

Nearly unbeatable? {<doc}

He's 32, can't wrestle, has no gas tank and has already lost twice so yeah he's absolutely the next Jon jones.

Think he's more like the Rumble of the division.

A threat that will destroy everyone but the champ consistently.

stay in the boxing section and make your jeff horn troll threads

The scary thing about Ngannou is that hes only been training mma for 5 years. If his takedown defense & ground game are improved (can’t tell yet because he’s been KOing people in 30 seconds) then don’t think any heavyweight will be able to touch him.

Is this morning the retard thread making championships?I'm outta here.

"First round Francis" is a force to be reckoned with, unless you are Derrick Lewis, then it is walk in the park, literally.

He's 2 and 2 in his last four 'at this point'.

he depends a lot in his physical attributes and that doesn't last forever

He can do it. He can surpass Werdum or Fedor, but he needs to win Stipe and Derrick rematches first and then win the belt and defender few times.
Right now he is nowhere near being a HW GOAT, but imo he is the best talent in that division history.

Everyone knocks out Overeem, and Cain beat 3 guys and lost to 3 guys the last 8 (!!) years,so I guess it is 50/50 every time he fights.
Ngannou might be great, and we all love him, but he just lost to Stipe and Lewis last year, so I don't know about "greatest of his generation"

DC is the best HW, and it's just because he hasn't fought JBJ @HW.

Ngannou would be a great defensive end in the NFL.

Even Jon Anik said if Ngannou was born in the USA he would be in the NFL

Imagine if real A level athletes like Khalil Mack or Julio Jones went into MMA

Greg Hardy is a B level NFL reject and KOs people

He might actually be the most talented genetically.

- Fast and agile as fuck for his size
- Unreal power even at short range
- Ungodly strong
- Has a chin (took some deadly shots from Stipe)
- Has heart (never quit against Stipe)

And the most underrated aspect:
- He LIKES it when guys try to wrestle him

Seriously, rewatch the Lewis fight and notice how Ngannou couldn't much of anything because Lewis didn't approach him. It was only when Ngannou closed the distance on his own in the end that he felt comfortable throwing. When guys wrestle him, they close the distance for him, making it comfortable for him to throw since he's a counter striker (except in the Stipe fight where he fought like a crazy idiot).

If Lewis rematches Ngannou and doesn't charge at Ngannou, Lewis would win again. Weirdly enough, doing nothing is an effective strategy against him possibly.
