You can't develop football players without great leagues, cblus and big money, plus football needs way more skills than american handegg or those weirdo sports you guys love to call players A level athletes.

But plenty of brazilians clubs are picking up Africans to play on under16/17 teams.

Him getting cut had more to do with him never playing a down of D1 Football.

You didn’t have to. Why aren’t Africans dominating Champions League soccer? That is by far the most popular sport and there’s no way scouts wouldn’t have developed a pipeline to scout African talent, European soccer has been big business since the 1980s Maradona era. The 1970s was the last time a World Class soccer player wouldn’t play regularly for a European Club team, because it’s big business.

Also soccer isn’t just about athletics. It’s coaching. Budget. Equipment. But how many of the best soccer players are of African decent? Just look at Brazil for your answer

Idk why Africans don’t dominate soccer, nor do I care. Is soccer the only sport in the world? Is soccer the standard of athletic prowess?

Also, before you butted into my interaction with the other poster, the context of our conversation was, “wow a lot of good athletes from Africa in combat sports”. To which my response was, “yeah they’re also doing well in the NFL”.

So before you go crashing someone’s conversation, first have a clue of what they’re talking about. No one said Africans are better because they’re black. We simply pointed out two areas where they’re currently excelling.
