He went there for Usman and not the UFC.
Nothing wrong with supporting your friend, but something is wrong when you don’t show up to your job, not once but twice. And your coach saying you want back in the UFC.
Actually the haters do try to make him out to be really bad, when he’s basically done nothing but adeptly address his business interests, while hundreds of fighters have been left broke, brain damaged and extorted.
Is Ngannou a bad person? I don’t think so, but he did just accidentally kill someone, even though it was revealed that she died from medical malpractice, anywhere else he would still be investigated for involuntary manslaughter. The problem with Ngannou he should’ve been transparent, openly say he wants money and the ability to box, instead he added stipulations like healthcare, millions for his opponents, African MMA, get fighters and fans on his side. The irony is Ngannou is indirectly the reason why countless of fighters are broke and cant fight to make money in the PFL. Those hundreds of fighters, broke, brain damaged and “extorted”(something you made up) are grown adults making adult decisions, if they wanted money they can join the rest of us in the workforce without getting the brain damage, you make it seem like there’s no other option for anyone to make a living.
People ITT don’t know why he couldn’t make it, but they’re jumping out their chairs to make assumptions and throw him under the bus.
The president of the PFL has said we have to ask Ngannou why he couldn’t make it and he disappointed, if your boss says this, it either Don Avis doesnt know or Ngannou reason wssnt really valid excuse, because if it was im sure the president to the company would address it and not calling it a disappointment. We don’t know why he didn’t show up, but it’s 2 events a month apart, and with the amount time and money PFL, sponsors, and negotiation with state or city the event was held in just to get it sanctioned, and their main reason for the event and push was for Ngannou “business interest” and he doesn’t show up or address it, it’s safe to say Ngannou has to crawl out from under the bus on this one.
You tell them the truth they call hater, talk to them honestly they call you traitor.
