Media Four UFC-champions, one picture

I dont get how people say hill isn't legit when he destroyed glover but at the same time glover was less than a minute a way from beating jiri for a decision for the title

This.

But we can say he's not an impressive champion so far because Glover was completely out of prime.

But it's not his fault, he fought what was available.

the handling of the LHW title picture was undeniably a shitshow, first striping the champ when an interim title would have made the trick, then the draw between jan and ankalaev not being rebook because dana's hissy fit...Hill is obviously very good but it just feel like he's the interim interim champ behind jiri and ankalaev even tough he is a hard fight for either of them

Ankalaev couldn't even properly dominate a 39 years old Jan.

Jiri gave his title, UFC didn't do anything + he almost lost against a washed out Glover.

The champion is Hill until proven otherwise.

Lol @ paper champ Hill trying to include himself as a champ.

Dude beat a 50 year old who just got finished in his last fight for the paper title of a paper title. Nobody knows who this guy is for good reason.

You don’t even believe your own post. Hill beat the remains of whatever Jiri left over of Glover. Without Jiri finishing him, Hill would still be getting mangled by guys like Paul Craig lol

Dudes a one dimensional boxer who was called because Jiri was out, and the UFC threw a hissy fit over the lackluster Ank/Jan fight, not because he deserved it lol. They needed to fill out a Brazil card with old man Glover coming off a loss headlining.

Man I didn't actually recognize Hill. Also took me a while to recognize Sterling because of the size difference.

Jiri almost lost against Glover, there's no need for any discussion...

Also i don't care about Craig, Jiri has losses against some nobodies.

Hill is the champion and you're salty about that {<jordan}

Salty about what? It’s literally comical to watch the shambles of a LHW division scramble around to find a suitable champ with mediocre guys lol.

Its the most absurd timeline in MMA history:

- Jones leaves

- Jan fights Reyes for the paper belt

- Jan loses paper belt to Glover

- Glover loses paper belt to Jiri

- Jiri gets injured and abandons paper belt

- Glover ducks Ank, so they make Ank vs Jan for the paper belt of a paper belt… draw

- UFC is pissed over the boring fight, so they call old man Glover off a loss and a random Hill from a thin division to fill out a booked arena in Brazil.

- Glover fights Hill for the Paper belt of a paper belt of a paper belt.

I don’t know how this doesn’t amuse you… clearly UFC marketing has done a good job creating sheep lol.

TLDR: Jones left his LHW kids without a father.

If Jon Jones was there it would have been 5 kings

The fact that black pro mma fighters make up probably less than 5% of the global talent pool and yet hold 5 of the 8 major world titles is impressive af imo.

It def helps explain the overwhelming irrational hatred they get from the fanbase.

By this logic the lhw belt would always be a paper belt if you have to beat Jones to be considered a real champ. That seems pretty silly to me. That would mean in the ufc the lw, ww, lhw and hw titles are all paper belts which i don't know anyone who believes that to be the case

I never said otherwise, you simply have to read actually : "But we can say he's not an impressive champion so far because Glover was completely out of prime."

However, saying that Jiri is a more legitimate champion than Hill while he almost lost against a completely washed out Glover is a big joke.

Sure the LHW division is currently weaker than before.

But Jiri is not a more legitimate champion than Hill.
