Rudy was a lawyer for Purdue Pharma. He’s been for sale for decades. It’s hilarious because of how Conservatives believed Trump cared about the opioid crisis while employing its former lawyer.
It was like believing he would "drain the swamp".
Everyone I have ever known (left and right) before 2016 could have agreed that "the swamp" in Washington was primarily defined by the politician-to-lobbyist-to-politician revolving door grift.
But in four years did Trump and the GOP write and pass ANY legislation that in ANY way attempted to crack down on lobbying in DC?
