is hari/rico 2 happening or nah
I think people were trying to hype Ginsanglek a few month ago but it seems like the hype has died out
Yes, producing a podcast is a better form of media than posting in a subforum. People actually listen to the podcast hence why he is represented in "Kickfighting media" and nobody but 10 posters on here know who jtwhatshisname is.It had everything to do with what you were saying. You were hyping steven Wright up like his podcast is somehow greater than what JT does on here. Again, why is producing a weekly podcast so significant? Why does content produced here not count, especially when it probably reaches more people? What does Lawrence Kenshin have to do with anything? He and Wright are not comparable in the attention they get.
As far as producing media content, I've been there, done that. Hell, last I remember, a Muay Thai piece I wrote for liverkick was the second most viewed thing in the history of the site behind a Badr Hari article.
make up your mind.
Different sports, especially if they are both combat sports, can still be compared and different sportsmen's accomplishments can be as well. Salvador Sanchez is an infinitely more accomplished fighter than Andy Souwer, even if they don't do the same sport.
No. But good boxers deserve far more recognition for what they have accomplished than good kickboxers do.does that mean I have to like boxing?

You keep flip flopping on whether you did work for Liverkick or not, last time someone questioned you you denied it, but we both know the truth you did and you were an absolute nightmare to work with.

NahI'm sure being a professionall soccer player takes more then being a top fight sport athelete
They changed the author name to Dave Walsh?I denied my affiliation with liverkick because I've been buried by that guy. All content I produced is now written by Dave Walsh.
Nah
Big difference between top and pro
They changed the author name to Dave Walsh?
I see your point but i still don't necessarily agree. Top soccer players might be more athletic, talented, skilled or whatever because the talent pool is bigger but fighting sports are more physically and mentally demanding. I see what you mean thoughYou know what I meant. Top compared to top.
You're looking for justification but turn your head away from other factors.
I'm sure being a professionall soccer player takes more then being a top fight sport athelete, doesn't mean I have to give a shit about it. It's like calling you a scrub for following a niche sport with a small number of practioners instead of a big sport. Different folks like different sports. For you those differences might be insignificant, for most they are not.
I haven't seen much of a problem when it comes to acknowledging that Soccer players are better athletes than combat sports athletes. But there does seem to be a big problem when it comes to acknowledging that stadium muay thai fighters are greater combat sports atheletes compared to kickboxers or international muay thai fighters.
People don't just say I like watching Tenshin fight, he's a cool fighter to watch. They say "this guy is the future of striking" or "this guy is the most amazing talent in kickfighting" or "this guy is only in high school this is unheard of". As I already said, overselling the accomplishments and abilities of fighters is one of the core values of kickfighting reporting.
What Tenshin has done isn't particularly amazing, you get many Thais (who still in high school!) who do the same thing or better every year.
Is acknowledging the problem or liking kickboxing more?
The thing is they don't do kickboxing, or most of them are unknown until they make there breakthrough in big stadiums.
Tenshin's breakthrough wasn't even a kickboxing bout!

You two desperately trying to cram 2 different demographics into one, just so you can say muay thai is not getting attention.
