Forrest Griffen finally confronts Rampage Jackson on podcast & settle the fight debate once and for all

The fight was too close to argue about in the first place, and it was a long time ago, so all of these arguments have been done about 10,000 times. Let's let it rest.

We can agree to disagree on this. I see you’re a knowledgeable mma fan, if you think he won the third that’s cool I know I won’t change your mind. 5th round was definitely the swing round could have gone either way
If you present an argument I might. But you said Rampage was backing him up which isn't true. once or twice. He throws some combos at air

I haven't had the chance to listen to this podcast fully yet, but Rampage can't say why he won either from previous interviews. 49-46 is trash though. Clear 2 rounds a piece for each with the 5th going either way.

I will say Rampage looked weird in this fight. He kinda seemed a bit shell shocked with how much damage Forest did with the kicks early. Forest was kicking his knee and calf though, so he might not have been used to that as opposed to the traditional kick to the thigh.

That fight seems so slow compared to todays LHW fights.

The fragility fills the air like Old Spice undesirable yet sweet.

Forest Griffin: I just want to address unfair historical racial dynamics from a pale man perspective for 5:00

Angry fans: He’s apologizing for being White!!! Never again I’ll never watch a replay!!! What a world what a world.

Me: He kinda put Page on the spot and he clearly doesn’t want that heat but meh where’s the lie? I wonder what sherdog thinks? Ohhh?? Oh my. Their pain fills the air like fog. I shall observe in silence

It was hard to swallow at the time that a rudimentary guy like Forrest beat Rampage and Shogun, but for me there's no controversy in that fight.

Forrest won at least three rounds, one of them beeing total domination and a clear 10-8. Rampage looked like a low-tier boxer who was never kicked before, head hunting in outbursts and limping badly by the end of the fight. He's strong and it looked like he did damage even when he was hitting the guard, but it wasn't his best night.

Forrest is a nice guy, but the way he used to run outta the ring when he lost or thought he lost was crazy. I used to run into him at 24hr fitness, he was always doubtful about winning when it came to fights.
For sure Tito beat Forrest, but Dana you know hated Tito at that time.
