Megan has already denied Ariel's name once, do it twice more and it'll be scriptural, Joe.
He is a reporter and interviewer, not an analyst. Of course he isn't going to talk about armbar transitions for 4 hours.
Media and athletes don't need to be friends. They need to ask the right questions regardless.
There's a difference between talking about armbars for 4 hours and spending far more time asking questions about a fighter's contract and salary or attitude towards a promotion than asking questions about a fighter's actual performance inside the cage.
Ariel is your classic WWE fan who watches MMA. Backstories and personal drama always take precedent.
Very fair & thought-out
Rare on here![]()

1. Megan only has a job because Ariel quit his job and she’s a complete tool of WME, Dana. She doesn’t break any stories like he did on the insider on the Wednesday night show. Wouldn’t even go so far as to say she’s a journalist. She’s a ufc employee and does exactly as she’s told.
Ariel worked for Fox directly. From this interview it sounds like she works for the UFC—I think that’s what Forrest said.
Thread about this yesterday
Personally not a fan of Ariel but Megan comparing herself to him is a joke
Nobody would watch anything Megan had unless it was on pornhub if she wasn’t working for the ufc as a hype
Girl
Why was he crying?
Why was he crying?
If I want the real shit Id watch Luke Thomas but you all hate him, so idk what you want
Why was he crying?
Exactly. Ariel's attempted behind-the-scenes fake chumminess with the fighters is part of what makes him so scummy.
Ariel's behind-the-scenes fake chumminess has given us the best interviews in MMA.
I've seen a lot of sports interviews. If you give them a generic question, the athlete will give you a generic answer. Sometimes you need to ask the uncomfortable questions that people actually want to hear.
Brendan Schaub is unbearable"Best interviews" is obviously a relative term then. The fucking FATK do better MMA fighter interviews than Dramawani.

But that was in reference to the Karyn Bryant debate about interviewing fighters as soon as they get off the scale & not re-hydrated & feeling good yet.
