That being said I feel like we never got to see the best of him, but was still a pretty good fighter.

Damned, that sucks. I really enjoyed his fights, always had high hopes that if everything fell into place he could become one of the bests at his weight class. Such a shame he never seemed to come close to his full potential, but that's how it goes in high-level sports I guess.

I'll never forget the Barao fight when the commentators said to expect Barao/Mcdonald to be at the top of the division (with multiple rematched) for years to come. So sad, injuries derailed what could have been a legendary career.

Wow this sucks the big bologna. But if he's gonna be working the wood and working on his wife then his hands can't be all fucked up. And at least he has a career post fighting. But he was wrecking mawfawkz to the end so shame we're not gonna see him again.
