Former UFC fighter "War Machine" interviewed from prison

I think if you have a long history of being a violent maniac who can't control himself and then you break into someone's home and beat your girlfriend half-to-death it could certainly warrant a life sentence. If it was your daughter/sister/mother that he did that too you probably would have a different perspective, but because it was "his pornstar girlfriend" you seem pretty dismissive of the situation.

And again, I didn't say he "deserves" it since "deserves got nothing to do with it". He put himself in this position by acting like a violent maniac time and time again. I'm just not surprised based on the context of the assault and his history of violence that this was the outcome.

His wife (he doesn't have a kid, she has one before they married) is a lot better looking than one would expect from a lady who pen paled him and he isn't able to get out of prison until he is in his 70s.

In truth he doesn't deserve to breath oxygen that is intended for decent humans... but what can you do?

All those child abusers should be in jail for life too.

You should not be surprised War Machine got life for violently attempting to rape and kill his girlfriend (maybe you aren't familiar with who he is and what he did????)

but also, if you think calling your ex abusive, psychopathic, former cage fighter, lunatic over, while getting smashed by another guy, and you think this is going to play out just fine, well. she didn't deserve it. but you have to exercise some kind of rationale too.

Seriously what was she expecting? She provoked a known psychopath with serious anger issues in the worst way. Everyone who's ever met someone like that knows thats the last thing you want to do. Not saying he was justified in beating the fuck out of them, but play stupid games..

Charles Manson was issued a marriage certificate for a half-decent looking penpal wife in her 20s...when he was 80. "Night Stalker" Richard Ramirez, who murdered and raped women, married a penpal while in prison and has had much younger female admirers write him.

I won't get the thread too off topic, but some women really are attracted to "bad boy" types.

It's a common paraphilia. I worked with convicts at one point, even serial killers get a lot of love letters and marriage proposal from fine looking woman.

I wonder why so many women love "true crime" type shows. Probably more extreme part of that demographic are pen pals with murderers locked up for life.

Wow this series of events reads like a realistic followup movie about an original Cobra Kai kid from the original Karate Kid.

War Machine was an 80's karate bully 2 decades out of time.

With his talent and passion actually focused on being/doing good work instead, this coulda been a hell of a redemption story before he royally fucked up.
