I met him and Christy Mack for a quick minute at a Target near Point Loma like a month before all the shit went down (I was with my brother, who knew him from training at Undisputed/Victory MMA in San Diego).

Crazy how the future unfolds sometimes.

Good friend of mine got stabbed for his wallet. A young guy got stabbed to death near my place. 17 years old. There were mountains of flowers and teddy bears and similar shit placed at the scene by familiy and class friends. Pictures of the 17 year old too etc.

War machine beat up chick and her lover. everyone lives to tell the story. It doesnt hit as close to home emotional for me. Death hits me harder than a beating, even if it was a rough beating. As far as i know, nobody came close to dying.

I guess everyone has different emotional breaking points. I understand hes a fucked up Individual, it just seems theres way worse and sadder stories out there.
