Okay, so first off I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I have long been a hockey fan and player myself, playing at high levels but it seems as the years have gone by, my interest fades and fades.
Hockey has became pussified to extreme levels. There's all this talk about concussions, they want to take fighting out of it, they want to take big hits out. Basically everything. You can't watch a game or read a magazine without reading it and it pisses me off.
MMA hasn't really had that yet unless you consider the creation of modern rules years ago as that. MMA does have a lot of annoying cliche topics, Dana White and a few other things but for the most part, It's much more exciting. To me, it represents everything that modern liberal pussified society is against. It's one of the last masculine things that still exist and it's real.
Anyone else feel this way? I still play hockey but it doesn't interest me like MMA does now. I do catch the odd leafs game but it just doesn't excite me anymore.
