Crime Former KGB Chief Claims Trump Recruited Under Codename 'Krasnov" in 1987

Military prowess doesn't mean they can't still have successful intelligence influence campaigns.

Just look at all of the bots on X - it is clear the Russians have an effect on there and they influence political discussions.. and that is in the open. What happens behind the scenes and behind closed doors?

Also, I don't get why people say just because people are rich they can't be compromised.. money isn't the only influence.. how about safety of yourself or your family? Perhaps damaging information you don't want public? There are many options that can influence outside of money.
Why can't our tech overlords easily stamp out "russian bot farms" on their platform? To blame US propaganda broadcast to the American people on a foreign entity, to me, is lazy and foolish. How much influence does "American bot farms" have on Russia? Or china?

This is 100% hog shit you are spewing. They are guilty of everything I am saying and probably twice again of the shit we don't know.

Why are you being an apologist for these assholes? You are a smart cat.

Where is the proof Trump was colluding with Russia to do election interference? That was the initial accusation.

You're making the leap that Manafort doing financial crimes with some connections to Ukraine equals Russia worked with Trump to rig the election. That's a huge leap.

Russia and China are much more selective and controlling in what their public consumes. The US is not - we have more freedom here on what we can consume, which is great.

But that also makes our media a much easier target than the reverse - Russia and China already controls everything their population consumes.

His SIL was sitting in on all of this. You are saying that's a leap? In the same room with Manafort. Making the deal. How can you defend that?

I believe you give them too much credit and over estimate their abilities. I'd love one example showcasing their vast abilities. The only evidence we have is, russia unable to win a proxy war with a tiny country on their border. China's never ending cardboard and inflatable "next gen" war fighting capabilites. Its a damn mirage to keep us fearful and accepting of over spending and overreach.

Again, I am not referring to their military capabilities. I agree that Russia has performed horribly and it is an embarrassment for the 2nd most powerful military on the planet to fail the way they have.

That is completely different from what I have been talking about. I didn't even say anything about the military lol

I’m surprised this wasn’t discovered in the multi year investigation of Trump and Russia. I bet the pee tapes are real

Sure, but that's the only evidence we have to judge their overall capabilities upon. If you can point me to some legitimate evidence of their incredible, digital psy-op. I'm all ears and always open to new information. I still remember bomb drills in elementary school. My entire life I've been conditioned to fear the big bad red. They've never once demonstrated a reason to warrant that.

I think your buddy tapped out. Siding with Russia is a bad move, correct?

They don't have free speech, they have their own sites like Yandex, VK, Weibo, Rednote, which overtly censor things the Chinese and Russian governments don't want people seeing

So basically China and Russia will censor anti-govt opinions whether they're foreign propaganda or not, whereas the US government can't due to the 1st amendment and the private companies also don't censor because they get flak for being biased if they do, and also because they want to make the most money

Private companies don't censor on social media? What fucking fantasy world do you live in lol.

It's there and you have been provided it. I could not imagine playing dumb like you. Terrible existence.

Delusional, like all leftists. Keep lying, it only affects other people with brain rot like yourself. Everyone else is laughing at you.

The big bad Russian scare on Twitter is making memes about how lame democrats are. People already see that.

I'm not saying they never censor content - but it's very different from in China or Russia. Companies like Meta will censor posts on criteria like:
  • They're confirmed parts of detected bot campaigns (this detection is imperfect)
  • They're confirmed disinfo (detection and fact checking are a cat and mouse game and imperfect)
  • Violent or pornographic content
Which means not censoring things like:
  • Claims whose factuality is debated or not yet debunked
  • Claims which are factual but are still being manipulated and/or exaggerated by foreign actors (e.g. Clinton email scandal)
  • Non-fact-based opinions (e.g. foreign bot account saying "I won't vote Kamala because of Gaza")
In contrast, the foreign sites can and will censor anything unflattering with no apologies or attempts to seem fair about it
