Forgotten UFC fighters of yesteryear

Tyson Griffin
Thiago Tavares
Nate Marquardt
Evan Dunham
Ivan Salaverry
Genki Sudo
Akihira Gono
Mike Van Arsdale
Joe Doerkson
Ed Herman (still active in ufc lol)
Team Dagger
Heath Herring
Benji Radach
Alan Belcher (was supposed to fight vitor and Weidman at one point)
Have you seen belcher in BKFC? Boy looks like he’s been taking his vitamins and saying his prayers lol. I’ve been a big fan of him since he showed no respect for Palhares’ ground game.

Treg telligman

Put on good fights, even when he lost.
Only had 1 pectoral.

I dont know if he qualifies for the thread as he is a former UFC HW champ, but Ricco Rodriguez is a very forgotten fighter for what he accomplished. Also at HW, Jeff Monson and Assuerio Silva.

What does Tim Sylvia do these days?
I think I saw pictures of him a few years ago and he’s like enormously fat now. He probably is the most forgotten fighter compared to how important he was in the division once upon a time

Most of these guys stand as testament to why fighting is a horrible career choice, at least if you want to be able to enjoy your golden years.
