For a second I thought Khabib was coming back. :(

Haha spot on. On each wiki article, there's like twenty hyperlinks worth opening (to be read later) and I litteraly spent entire nights (many) on Wikipedia because of this. Some of the themes which always end up like this for me are biology, especially animals, classifications and evolution... Also anything health-related as l'm a healthcare worker. History is also source of the best wiki rabbit holes lol. I don't know anymore if I'm curious or just addicted to data consumption hahaha
I know what you mean. I can't stop reading about Supermassive Black Holes and what would happen if you fell into one!

Honestly, if I look at something I look at it thoroughly enough that I don't have the time to open another.

My mind likes to gather a lot of information, and if im dicking around looking at other things I feel like I'll miss something important about my original query.

Im not hating your style sir, I just had ocd seeing them open and not being looked at lol.
I cannot relate to your healthy, illuminated prefrontal lobes.

Iikely Could have been, had he not taken his ball and gone home to mom after three title defenses. Thats not a bad thing, but it removes him from the convo. No one will ever know how he handled being at the top for an extended time and thsts the unanswered question. He quit before he proved he could it which quite simply is a huge variable
He had nothing left to prove. Goat

Those are facts regardless of your opinion.
Judges are never wrong. Ever.

Khabib and Conor going away from the LW division has probably saved it. They sure did fuck it up good for years between the 2 of them.

I'm grateful to have been alive during Khabib's fighting career. The moment he retired, I stopped watching ufc because it will never compare to his epic career where he dominated and crushed each and everyone of his opponents

Judges are never wrong. Ever.
Sure, they can be, however his record is still 29-0.

Your opinion matters, however facts invalidate your opinion and that is the case here.

Facts are tibau should have won. Judges missed one.

Sir, that is not a fact. That is an opinion.

Khabib's 29-0. Now that is a fact as it well documented.

Here is a basic chart explaining how facts vs. opinions work:

I hope that provides clarification.

Good day, sir.

Ahhh well, he isn't. All his fans get to continue to incorrectly call him GOAT but it's all good. Anyone whose opinion is worth a damn, wouldn't say he is. Had the potential to be but won't because that resume is thin as fuck.
Who gives a fuck who people consider the goat? It's a stupid thing to argue about to begin with.

Name the grapplers he avoided in the LW division.

Oliveira? Was at FW when Khabib was making his run. Gillespie? Wasn't even in the UFC when Khabib was n1 contender. Lee? Wasn't even in the UFC when Khabib was ranked nr2. Cerrone? Had a 2 year knee injury so wouldn't call that ducking.

The grapplers he did face though: Trujillo, Shalorous, RDA and Healy. 4 of his first 6 fights where against wrestlers or high level BJJ guys.

So again, which great grapplers did he avoid?
Tavares too. Man doesn't get a lot of love but his bjj was legit. His chin is ass but on the mat? Dude was solid

Oliveira was at FW when Khabib was n1 contender in 2016. When Khabib became champ in 2018 Oliveira wasn't ranked in LW. So how the fuck did he duck him? Khabib defended against both the top ranked LWs which where Gaethje and Poirier. Oliveira was like 6th when Khabib retired. So how the fuck did he avoid him? Oliveira was never near Khabib in the rankings until after he retired.

He LITERALLY became champ 7 months after Khabib retired.
