Tibau beat him, then he avoided grapplers the rest of his career and cherry picked strikers he could ragdoll. Can’t be a GOAT if your only meaningful wins are all the same style of fighter.

I haven't rewatched the fight since it happened but I tend to agree, I felt Tibau won that fight. Khabib was the aggressor and the fight was close enough that I wasn't upset by the decision though. As far as avoiding grapplers, it's hard to say exactly what goes on behind the scenes with contract negotations but I've never seen any indication that Khabib ducked anyone. He fought whoever was offered to him pretty much
