Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor PBP (Discussion)

I'm not one of them. I bet money on Floyd and walked away with 300. Would've been much more if he had finished a few rounds earlier.

The fact Conor took several rounds from the p4p great and made the first half of the fight competitive is a huge feather in his cap. Everyone expected him to be dominated.

That is complete and total whimsical fancy.

Floyd barely threw 10 punches the first two rounds, and he showed a complete lack of respect for Conors power. He walked away totally unscathed.

If you don't realize Mayweather let Conor punch himself out the first few rounds, I have a bridge to sell you, give you a great deal.

The best part was Connor hammer-fisting him and punching him from behind when he had his back turned.

Have you even made a single positive comment on sherdog about Conor ever? Be honest.

I'll bold it so maybe it sticks in:

0-0 boxer against the guy who 2 years ago was the p4p greatest boxer on the planet

Conor should not have won one round, let alone 3. Oh, only one judge gave him 3 rounds?

0-0 boxer against p4p best.

I'll bold it so maybe it sticks in:
He didn't win 3 rounds, he won the first round.

Floyd is known for starting slowly, he's known for taking a few rounds to understand his opponent. He said in multiple interviews the first few rounds may go Conor's way. He followed his game plan...

The 0-0 boxer was schooled in the sweet science of boxing by the p4p best.

It matters because turning your back to an opponent in any sport is considered cowardly. In boxing it is a strategy.

Just like kneeling down is considered to be submissive, but in MMA its a strategy.

Conor just arrived at the post fight press conference

McGregor did fine in his pro boxing debut against one of the best ever to fight. Yea he was the bigger guy fighting a pillow handed boxer but he did make it 10 rounds. Props to Conor.

Hopefully he doesn't do something stupid and try to get GGG in the ring.

I have to give Conor credit for addressing his fatigue and gassing issues at the press conference...

How would the fight have went if Conor had 12 round cardio?

I enjoyed the fight. Went to a friends house and played some beer pong. We were all surprised Conor lasted that long and connected with some good uppercuts. Yea, cardio did him in but that is part of the game like any other technique and shouldn't be used as an excuse.

Floyd rope a doped Conor with ease.

Floyd carried him throughout the the last 9 rounds possibly the whole 12.

Was surprised that Conor fell for such a rookie boxing tactic.

Conor was gasping for air like a fish out of water while Floyd looked like he just went for a jog.

What part of 0-0 boxer do you retards not understand?

For the record, every major news organization disagrees with the two judges that only gave Conor one round. He landed more punches than Pacquiao did. At the very least, you retards have to admit they were competitive for the first half. Which is more than anyone expected.

His desire to fight Mayweather is explained by his desire for money.

If he suddenly desired to fight GGG, the only explanation would be he desired his own death.

Anything good at the post fight presser?

I honestly think it's 5-3 Conor.
Stick to MMA if you honestly think that lol.
