Never been! But Ive heard bad things!!
 
There was like a 10 page thread on this like two days ago.
 
lol "in every way". There was a thread on this a few days ago, where it said Michigan is #1. Florida is full of people who moved from Michigan and there are right around 0 people who've moved from Florida to Michigan. Oh yeah, after people have worked their whole lives and can retire, they finally leave the hell of 75 degree winters so they can freeze their ass off in the midwest.

I have lived in FL and NJ, and NJ is definitely worse. Atleast FL has decent weather for a large portion of the year and lots of beautiful coastline.
 
I went to Sarasota all the time as a kid. That place was awesome. I was fishing and hooked a manatee right in the eye. My dad had to cut the line but I wanted to try and land that fatty

I lived in Miami for one year and hated every minute of it. They don't even speak English in Miami anymore, you need to learn Spanish. Rude people, dirty city, and the nation's worst drivers. Everything that is 'shitty' in Latin America you will find in Miami. Other parts of Florida are very nice. In a way it is like California, where, depending on the area, things can be good or bad.
