actually the flinch is good.

you can't hope to see everything all the time.

When you can control the flinch, use it to help you move away and into a technique,
then that is the bomb.

Kao Klai uses his flinch very effectively. It's natural & skilled at the same time.

flinching goes away dont worry bout that when things like slipping and blocking become more natural to u and when you get used to actaly getting hit it will go away for sure

Flinch is natural, its hard wiring,

It will always be there, when caught off guard.
when people say it goes away, it doesn't go away, they are just more use to it, so in
the ring, it takes more than that to make them flinch.
 
An old school Thai training technique to stop flinching is to splash water in your face.
 
The flinch does go away. Everybody knows this.
 
when you splash yourself, your just training/conditioning your flinch, if you want to call that
it goes away then fine.

But have somebody suprise or scare you, you will flinch.

Awesome. I will ask one of my friends to start surprising me like Kato in the Pink Panther movies. It seemed to work for Inspector Clueso.

Used to shoot a lot, heard a trainer tell a new guy who flinced to relax his face and it helped a lot.
 
relax the face,
when your nervous your face becomes tense, so it shows a connection with your
emotions and body(your face) so if you relax your face, calm your breathing,
loosen up a bit, your emotions will be more relaxed.
