I think more people need to see this fight. It’s an absolutely incredible 5 round war that goes back and forth in the stand up, clinch and ground.

His opponent is Magomed Tiger Magomedov, a top notch Dagestani fighter with wrestling and Ushu credentials, he’s the main sparring partner for Zabit and he’s currently 18-1(13-0 at the time). I believe he’s supposed to sign with the UFC.

Little history about this fight: Magomedov won their first bout which is the only loss on Yan’s record, however, that was rather a controversial loss, as Yan was winning and then got a point taken for a head butt, and two judges scored the fight a draw and one gave the win to Magomedov, by the org rules a winner had to be announced and they gave it to Magomedov.

Either way, I want those who say Sterling will wrestle fuck Yan, to watch this.

I'm beginning to see the hype behind Petr. Top BW and FW fights can't happen soon enough.

Magomed wrestlefucked him throughout the fight in the first match, should've been a clear UD for Magomed, must've been biased Slavic judge panel.

Rematch goes for Yan, clearly.

Why isn't Magomed fighting anymore?

There was 3 Muslim judges in this second fight.

As for Magomed, I think he was injured for a long time

Aljo is definitely a tough matchup for Yan. Even his striking is no joke. The way he ran through Sandhagen was arguably more impressive than the way Yan beat Aldo.

i duno, guess u could look at it one of two ways. he dominated the fight and only took him like 90 seconds to win.. or he caught sandhagen in a brainfart and a rematch would most definitly go a different way. i have no idea what to think, but im almost positive sandhagen might have had a brainfart/hot under the brigh tlights moment in the ufc.... a rematch would NOT go the same way

Yeah, was a clear mistake by Cory, well capitalized by Sterling

I think Henry Cejudo with his Olympic level wrestling would be a problem for Yan. He could hold him on the ground for five rounds.

Sterling loses badly though.
