Crime Flash Mob Theft Trend Thread

Stay on topic. This thread isn't a green light to hate on black people.

It documents the existence of a trend, and asks why is this so (apparently) distinctly subcultural? What history exists that we can blame? If there is none, then, perhaps it is time we examine so other possible culprits of cause, and look at whether or not these can be addressed by government.

Well the thread is about flash mobs, so where are all of the videos or stories of white people doing this shit? Let's be fair and balanced here.

We had to see and hear about the Covington school kids on CNN for a week straight, and they didn't even do anything. Here is actual crime on video being committed by school kids and CNN barely said a word. Why is that? What is the difference here?

I bet if those "Flash Mob" kids had red MAGA hats on, it would be all over every news channel for the rest of the year. The media bias is bullshit.

That post wasn't deleted because it was on topic. Don't exhort me to be fair and balanced when I have done nothing unfair or imbalanced. That irritates me.

I agree if there was a group of students with red hats committing any sort of crime on video, it would be blown out of proportion, but the hats alone would lend an incontrovertibly political character to the incident.

How this trend of theft bears on political discussion is more esoteric.

And when in the Hell did "Flash Mob" start getting used for a large group of people that steal and do violent shit?

Flash Mob used to be given out to a group of people that would start singing or dancing for fun in the middle of a crowded train station while people who knew about it would record it.

Now when a large group of people decide to break the law and steal, they are called a Flash Mob?

I didn't even know that you deleted a post. I wasn't even talking about anything that you did. This thread is never going to be "Fair and Balanced" because it is only ever going to be about one race of people.

Probably be best just to delete it.

Literally none of this had taken place in any of the videos in this thread.

flash mob
/ˈflaSH ˌmäb/
noun
noun: flash mob; plural noun: flash mobs; noun: flashmob; plural noun: flashmobs

  1. a large public gathering at which people perform an unusual or seemingly random act and then disperse, typically organized by means of the Internet or social media.
"equipped with cameras and LED lights, a flash mob of 135 people appeared out of nowhere to put on a performance"

And when in the Hell did "Flash Mob" start getting used for a large group of people that steal and do violent shit?

The same way the Christians killed by mass murdering Islamists were referred to as 'Easter Worshipers' by Democrats this year.

Collusion to use the same terminology to downplay the offensiveness.

They probably don't realize it, but all these new style "Flash Mobs" are doing is campaigning for Trump's 2020 run for free.

I'd like to second this. I for one am shocked and appalled that people are discussing this in terms of race. What are you people smoking? This is clearly a political issue. Democrats and their economic policies have caused this situation. We need to get back to personal responsibility and fiscal conservativism, and this problem would be solved. The Democrats are the real racists. Anyone who talks about black people negatively here should not do it.

I agree. We should be able to discuss this in a purely and clinically analytical manner.
It looks to be a poisonous culture, from here. There is a reason why you see Indian, Jewish, and Asian kids not behave this way; their culture emphasizes respect, education and striving to succeed. It's a stark contrast to what you see in today's black culture. (or, this particular sub-culture, at least)
Thuggish behavior being promoted in lieu of fathers discipline and guidance, a disdain for education (acting "white") and a huge lack of respect for others.. You don't really see this phenomena really happen in any other group, not at this level. So, the question becomes: where is the differentiating factor(s)?
One thing's for certain, continuing to sweep it under the rug of excuses isn't doing any good.

Exactly. It's just the culture that's the problem.
If you give these youths a better culture, then this sort of thing cannot happen.

At least with Apple if you steal any of their demo computers, phones or tablets from the store the moment they are out of range of the stores wifia kill switch is turned on making them unusable and also turns on tracking

The dog whistling in here is too damn high.

You see how stupid it is to think like this? I wish Democrats would stop encouraging it.

Wain's satire, as he has already clarified himself, is that some behaviors can't be associated with any failure of policy. They are failures of culture. Sometimes our conditions are the product of our behavior, and not vice versa. It's a chicken and the egg debate.

egg.
