I haven't been following the Page thing closely. What did he do to be a traitor? I did see him in an interview acknowledge that he misled some Russians in an attempt to get paid speaking fees and the like because he represented that he had been in meetings with Trump - which he later acknowledged were public campaign events. He's a huckster; I don't know of what he has done that makes him a traitor.
Answering itt to not derail the breaking news. I'm taking some liberties by calling him a traitor, but he's been recruited by Russian spies and he is consistent in his anti-US, pro-Russian rhetoric, and it's obvious that he was communicating with Moscow in the capacity of working for the campaign.
As far as shooting down the claim that the FISA warrant was wrongly granted, it was granted for cause. He was suspected of being a spy as early as 2013. And a really important point on that is, if the cause for the warrant was corroborated by sources other than the dossier, it would be illegal to release that information. The FBI has implied as much with their response to the memo.
Page also testified that he told Jeff Sessions that he was going to Moscow, and Sessions seems to have committed perjury by denying that. This is a public relations stunt to cover Page, Sessions, and the Trump campaign, and that's just going by what has leaked.
I'm considering reading it, but I have to prepare myself for the epic douchechills.I read the entire memo, and it's precisely as weak as I assumed it was. It focuses entirely on Carter Page, and the Steele Dossier. It's embarrassingly terrible. I look forward to all the apologies from the Deplorabots.
You were rightIt's going to read like an excerpt from one of Glenn Beck's whiteboard rants, imo.
American politics in general have fallen so far from the ideal of what was intended and in its ability to truly be a boon for the people.Who would have thought that by 2018 the Republicans would be going all in for a Russian agent against the DOJ and FBI? These are screwy times.
I read it. There's only a little over 2 pages of meat.I'm considering reading it, but I have to prepare myself for the epic douchechills.

It actually turned out kind of interesting lol. I get the concern, but to use it to interfere with the investigation is some next level repugnant shit.I read it. There's only a little over 2 pages of meat.
