Clinton is more trusted on terrorism and immigration (haven't seen polling on gun control). But I take all that shit with a massive grain of salt. It generally works backwards from partisanship. Most voters don't say, "I like X's position on Y so I support X" as much as they say, "I like X so I support X's position on Y."

I know in times after terror attacks (and the majority of people view recent events in NJ and NY as terror attacks) peoples votes tend to slide to authoritarian -- havent seen polling on that issue since. Even still, people who list those 3 areas as top concerns are already overwhelmingly Trump supporters -- so, hes got the debate advantage there...even if his policy is weak.

Just as people who rank abortion, gay rights and race equality as their main issues are going to side with Clinton.

however, as you mentioned, the the majority of public siding with policy has already been had just by association with the candidate


But the question format is: direction of country; economy and security -- i see leeway for trumps sensationalism to sway polled viewers on 2/3

Money is literally not a factor, all spoken for. I thought there was an outside chance I could worm my way in there, but zero preferential treatment or fucks are given. Even Wash U poli sci honors majors can't get in without hitting a lottery.

Obama was smart and used social media and the internet in general in ways that no Presidential candidate had ever done before. The left had a borderline total authority on social media for years and years.

The right, specifically Trump and his supporters, are now in control. The left has sucked at social media this year, mostly because Bernie had all the passion and Hillary had none. Now they are left with playing the gender and victimization cards.

Tbh I think Hillary and her team never expected this to be hard for her, with all the support from the media and all that never ending money she has for her campaign I'm sure they expected this to be a breeze. They seem desperate sometimes and now it's too late for her to embrace the internet like Obama, Bernie and Trump did.
