Elections First Presidential Debate Discussion: 9/26/16

Who won the debate?

  • Total voters
    495
  • Poll closed .
I found it funny when Hillary talked about Trump having something to hide with taxes but when it comes to deleted emails, nothing to hide there Hillary? I love seeing both of them squirm.

Bernie can fuck off too. Governor Gary Johnson is the realist one there was
Gary Johnson is an open borders, pro robber baron bozo.

In terms of the debate Trump started well and hit some good points on her email, trade, NAFTA/TPP and about Hillary's disdain for Obama, but he too often starts going off on non sequitors when Holt and Hillary were giving him wide open lanes to hit her hard on her indiscretions and poor judgment, his lack of preparation and treating this like the primaries hurt him. Hillary didn't do anything special so this debate will just reinforce both sides without moving the needle for undecideds too much.

The only difference is context you blockhead. Trump said those things when being asked questions about that topic. Something politifact omits.

Jesus... trickle down never works. Look at Louisiana and Kansas. Those were cut the tax on rich folk states... how are they doing? In the meantime, California just raised taxes on the rich and they are one of the strongest economies in the world, just not the US.

Trickle down (lowering taxes on the rich) economics has NEVER worked... not even once.

Depends on what your objective is. If its to make rich people richer.....

"Clinton: Trump has called women "pigs," "dogs" and "slobs"

This is accurate. Trump used those exact words to describe Rosie O’Donnell,"

Politifact says Clinton's accusation of Trump calling WOMEN pigs, dogs and slobs is ACCURATE because he said those things about ONE WOMAN (Rosie O'donnel)

UNBIASED

the washington post is the other fact checker aside from politifact (which has been proven to be biased)

the washington post had a headline implying Trump blamed Obama for Omar Mateen.

I don't think FactCheck.org is the Washington Post.

Trump Supporters: JAPAN GOT PUT ON NOTICE TONIGHT, OHHHHHHHSHIIIIIIIIT

Hillary: ....

*Japan stares intently at their TV screens, trying to figure out what the f*ck is happening*

Hillary: Sorry about this guy, folks.

Trump Supporters: YEAHHHHHHH INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND FORIGN RELATIONS COMMITTEES CAN SUCK OUR DICKS, YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Hillary: I just....want to go on record that America still belongs to NATO, and honors its agreements....

Trump Supporters: BURN IT ALL DOWN, FUCK YEAAAAAH

Trickle down economics is a cop out term used by people who don't know that the USA already has the highest tax rates in the world for rich people
Except they don't... Highest bracket it's under 40%. There's other western European countries where that's the AVERAGE bracket, not the top.

Washington post fact checkers and politifact are two cited sources from what you linked me. I'm not gonna bother looking into FactCheck.org, because I've made my point loud & clear.

If those of their sources are biased, their credibility is ruined (it is)

With all taxes combined (state, fed, sales, municipal) that is not correct.
