I ppersonally feel Frankie gets looked over way to much in the P4P and GOAT discussion.

Edgar got a title shot his very first fight at FW, coming off of back to back losses. He hasn't been screwed at FW.

Frankie is great. One of the greatest fighters out there. But GOAT-ness ought to require a long and dominant reign as champion, plus an aura of invincibility during said reign. Frankie hasn't have that yet.

He has a great chance at doing it. One could argue that 155 might have been the toughest belt for him to win since he is technically undersized for that division. He could win the FW belt and who knows what happens at BW, if he ever does decide to go for it. I think he would have had a better chance of beating Dill than Dom, but i don't see why Frankie doesn't go for it.

The weight cut would cost him at 135 and he couldn't beat guys like TJ and Cruz.

Frankie might be the greatest American fighter up there with Hughes and BJ but top 3 GOAT? No.

He just doesn't have the resume that guys like Fedor, Anderson and GSP have.
