Rose has beaten the Joanna twice and Zhang twice...going 4-0 against the 2 women that are "the best" 2 chicks in that division.

Manon wouldn't even beat Zhang or Joanna.

100% agree, brothers; but with an asterisk. Where I agree is tactically, she doesn't seem to feel comfortable throwing enough variety on the feet (or just hasn't faced enough adversity to have to mix it up).

However, Manon's been striking since a very young age. And although her IQ/strike selection hasn't shown this in MMA, you can tell by the way she strikes, her quickness, and the fact she can (and does) throw double the amount of strikes that Rose does in a fight.

Rose has fought (striking) at a higher level in MMA while fresh (e.g., trapping Zhang, Joanna; she didn't look great against Andrade in round 3) but Manon actually has greater striking pedigree.

This is exactly how I think the fight will go after first round or so if Rose can't reliably get it to the ground.

Even if Rose lands the better strikes early; my thinking is that Manon can drown her with 1-2 kicks (assume Manon makes no adjustments or doesn't show us something more) and this could win her the fight.

I don't know enough about Manon's grappling, this is the X factor for me and what makes the match-up intriguing. Their BJJ could be lightyears apart for all I know. However, she's so much bigger that the gap's going to have to be fairly sizable to win the fight.

Manon doesn't even have fluidity to her movement... I'm not sure you can say her pedigree is better at all.

What? Manon is like 5’8 made muscle and has good reach. She could easily fight at 135. She would pose huge issues to both Joanna and Weili. She is too big

Rose definitely has better movement. Apparently Manon's won national titles in kickboxing and Karate--I don't know much about this myself.

Rose is a great striker in her own right. I think she executes better than Manon (when she's on); but if we look at Manon's 1-2 sidekick, you can tell she's thrown this at least 10,000 times. She hasn't shown us much more in MMA, but who knows.

The point is--grappling aside--she can probably spam 1-2 kicks at a high enough volume to coast to a 3-2 or 4-1 decision if she stays conscious.

She moves forward, has basic lateral movement... she's stiff as a board.
Im not saying she can't win, but overall Rose is the better striker.

Nevermind the fact that she has won in every possible way just about.
Flying armbars, KOs with hands and feet, has a tremendous jab etc.
 
Looking forward to how this plays out. Got a feeling Rose is getting plucked!

That aside...

Rose has the better arsenal to work from but Fiorot might not need too much opportunity! Also Firot is relentless... Good? Bad? We will see.
 
No way either of them are a lock. Rose probably has the best footwork in WMMA but she will be undersized against Fiorot. I wouldn't be surprised if Rose KO's Fiorot, honestly. The difference between the top women and everyone else in WMMA is a HUGE gap and Rose is still at the top.

Not sure how you attributed multiple quotes to me but I’m glad you agree with “me” so I don’t have to argue about what I didn’t say.
 
Even if I regularly bet on fights, I wouldn't bet on a Rose fight. When she is motivated and...let's say "in the right mindset", she can beat anyone in that division. When she is not in that mindset, she can lose to anyone in the Top 10. Which Rose will show up on the night of the fight? Wait and see.

She sticks mainly to the 1-2 sidekick. I remember doing a heap of tape on her before she came to the UFC for gambling. I've made good cash betting on this woman and her side-kick from the start haha. She's great.

She can have those titles, Rose is a 2 time UFC champ.
Im not sure if you know this but this is MMA not kickboxing.
She has shown zero evolution and she gets by on her size.

Like I said... we'll see if Frankenstein can grapple.

Edit: the pic you chose is funny btw, she's kicking some bum, and you're comparing her go Rose.
