Finnegan's Wake

MMA Fight Team Practice:
2 hours

Yep. More stuff.

Impressions:
Eating the last fruit tomorrow. 2 days of low carb and distilled water after that, and then weigh ins. Also, I'm going to work on a design for our MMA program. The "artist" that has been hired is taking too long, and I've got to wear a shirt w/ a dude in a karate gi high kicking on the back, but I'm going to put an iron-on transfer of the St. Wilhelm's logo on the front.

If you need any help with the St. Wilhelm's transfer, let me know. I do that kind of shit all the time.

Its a black shirt and white lettering. Any special precautions when dealing w/ dark materials?

Thanks for the support. Does your zipper company want to sponser any fighters?

Oh. I've never had much luck with dark-shirt iron ons. Here are the iron-ons I use...

For light colored shirts, it's easy because you can print the color black. For dark shirts, it's different because you can't print white. So the transfers are completely different. On the dark transfers you won't need to mirror the image like you do with light transfers. Dark transfers tend to fade quickly and the transfer itself will be thicker.

The only advice I can give on the dark ones is, keep the iron hot and keep it on the transfer (but keep it moving so you don't burn the shirt) for a long time. The corners tend to take longer than the rest and they'll be the first to start lifting up if you don't leave the heat on long enough. When you think it's done, slowly pull up a corner and make sure the design stays put.

I don't remember if you're supposed to let it cool before you remove the backing paper....but the directions should cover that.

Good luck with the fight, amigo

I'll do the Finnegan WAR WAGON, but I'm not so sure about the CHOO-CHOO part.

*CHOO-CHOO*

The "choo choo" is teh best part of the whole thing. Way to give 50% Tamil

So, are you going to tell us what this chump's name is or what? How are we supposed to make voodoo dolls without knowing who the doll is an analog of?

Sure. The fight card has been posted on the webpage.
