Finnegan's Wake

well i didn't do anything on this paper. time to pull the all nighter express.

Hey man, this is kind of random. I remember you saying you eat a lot of chicken tits. I also think I remember you saying you go to the grocery store to get them. I just joined Costco and fucking love it.

Since I (and you I presume) am eating the same thing for most days of the week buying in bulk saves me a lot of money and allows me to get stuff like frozen fruit that I can't get from the grocery.

I'd recommend Costco or BJ's club if you can find either of them near you. Worst case, you probably have a Sam's Club near you, and they are the same way. I just hate them because they wouldn't let me walk in and check prices without a membership.

Membership at Costco was $50 for a year, but I probably saved that in a month. Plus, I have more choices.

Also, in case you didn't see it (or for any S&Pers that don't go to the D&S):
$25 off of $75 of Muscle Milk or ON Whey @ Amazon.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, I share a fridge w/ 2 other people who do not share my dieting habits (i.e, the freezer is full of Hot Pockets and frozen veggies) so I have a limited space available. I usually buy 3 or 4 packages of 3 pack chicken breasts that are about to expire (they get eaten within a couple days) and some fresh ones to freeze. My chicken budget per week is about $35-50 at 3-4 breasts a day.

I pay about $20 for 12 breasts. They are packaged in plastic 2 breasts/vacuum bag, so it's nice. Might be worth checking one of them out. But yea, with all my veggies and the rest, my fridge/freezer are pretty full when I get home with food.

I've had those. The Solo Servings from Tyson or Perdue? They are okay, but a bit small for my needs. I prefer the monster chicken pecs that are as big as mine in the packages.

I got 3 tubs of muscle milk from that deal. I havent had it in years. I used to buy some 5 years ago but it was HORRIBLE taste wise ....apparently they figured out a way to make it taste good...by adding shitload of sugar I only assume...but fine by me.....I have trouble getting sufficient protein in my daily intake...50-100g doesnt cut it imo....

How's the chicken quality of the one that's near expiration? If it's pretty good then that's a great thing to keep in mind for myself when I move out and want to keep a budget. I spend way too much money on fish/chicken so that's a great tip to me.

Well, obviously check the expiration date. Its usually within a couple of days, so eat those first. I've not noticed any lack of taste or discoloration. You can usually get them for about 30-50% off. They'll be labeled as "Manager's Special" or something similar.
MM doesn't have too much sugar. It has some per serving, but I believe its under 10 grams (for two scoops).

I don't have any on hand myself.

I'm taking in 250-350 protein a day, depending on whether its a lifting day or not.

I mostly buy big chicken quantity from costco so not sure how that compares. But it's definitely good to know.

who's Sammy in your sig?

i buy my chicken from a local butcher. not sure how it stacks up price wise but i would say it's healtheir, but then again this is america so they prolly get the chicken from the same place. But I do notice a difference in texture between butcher bought chicken and store packaged chicken. Store packaged chicken has a texture of something we're like more accustomed to like the kind at restaurants and stuff.

My teeth hurt. That is a good sign of a properly challenging conditioning circuit for me. Not sure how many times I made it through the circuit. Probably 8 or so.

Drop back for Achilles lock, switch to heel hook, switch to toe hold. Did this 30+ times.

Review of Guillotine choke with elbow on the back of the traps/ 10 finger Guillotine variants introduced.

Rolling:
2 five minute rounds.
I did well here. Sprawl was decent, sweeps were good. Spent most of the time in a dominant position. Fought off a lot of sub attempts.
Ended round two with a heel hook. Resisted the urge to shout "Technique of the Day!" or "Armenia, you are Free!".

Impressions:
Finally starting to get armbars from mount down a bit better. Its really difficult for me for some reason.
Leg locks, I think, would serve me well to learn. I've drilled them before in sub grappling, so this was a nice refresher. The kneebar escape from back mount, especially, I really liked.
