Im going to be starting the Ross 50 day program next week, with some tweaks. I imagine our logs are going to be looking pretty similar for awhile...

I've done a couple of them, but I've been doing some of the conditioning challenges/ sledgehammer work on Warrior Challenge day. I stick to the basic principles layed out in the book and to the split (Warrior challengs/ sprints/ strength/ GPP/ rest/ repeat) w/ his core exercises added in two-three times a week. I was not in good enough condition to tackle the program when I first got it, so I had to work up to it (sprints especially). I could probably do it now though.
 
Oh, and woogie: If you come across any ARMENIAN women, perhaps you could work to FREE them from oppression.
 
I had great naga experience.. I just hate their rules.

If you jump guard, and the other guy falls on top of you.. 2 points to him.

If the other guy catches you in a shitty sub and it takes you more than 2 seconds to get out of it, 2 points to him.

Weird catch wrestling rules..

Enter naga nogi (gi is fun too if you ever decide to try it) and see how it works. I bet you'll learn more in one tournament than you will in a month or two of classes. I learned that my takedowns are garbage (other than my arm drag) and if I'm going to have to jump guard every once in a while, my guard better be darn good.

Heavybag Power punching:
10 1-2's full power, full speed, reset, repeat x 10, 30 seconds rest x 2 1/2 sets *see below*
10 1-2's full power/ full speed, reset, repeat x 10, 30 seconds rest x 4

Finisher: 45 second power punch punch out (1-2's, 1-2-3's)

Impressions:
So, I knocked my heavybag down today. During the 3rd set of the powerpunching drill, the bag went flying across the room. I had sheared the bolts. No shit.
It took about 15 minutes to put new ones in and rehang the bag.
My 16 oz gloves (Everlasts) are starting to show some wear. I'm thinking of getting some better ones.
