Well, if this doesn't speak for what a Zercher program can do for your lifts, I don't know what will. This doesn't even seam possible. After I did it, I ran into the house and got my spotter just to verify that I was locking it out. I don't even know what to say, except thanks Gordon and Fat Wilhelm for turning me onto the Zercher deadlifts. I strongly suggest everyone who is doing them to max out their deadlifts in a few more sessions.
Holy shit!
As for the Zercher deadlifts themselves, 300 was easy, but I got too greedy and just missed (about 3/4 of a rep, but couldn't lock it out) 325. Oh well, I'll hit it next time.

Thanks. I really want to see what these lifts will do for the other guys. I'm still kind of new to deadlifting, but I don't think "noob gains" is to blame here.

Sweet, that's exactly what I was hoping for. Now I'm determined to stick with only zercher deads and squats for 6+ weeks to see what happens.

Again, hack squats suffered from them being similar to deadlifts and being in second place to the Zerchers. I'll rotate them to the front after a few more weeks.

Focus tonight was on ground control from side mount. I probably should have skipped tonight's session, but oh well. In free sparring, I worked over/ under a lot more than usual, and got a couple of front leg trip takedowns. I got tossed and faceplanted later for my efforts.

Impressions I really wish I didn't have to clean the weights. Oh well. More motivation to make the power cage when I get some money freed up. Overall, I was happy with the push pressing. This is the first time I've done it, and I'm quite fond of it now. Goal: 235, my bodyweight.
Bench felt a lot better than last time. I tried out a different rep scheme, and was satisfied with the results.
Overall, a satisfying workout.
 
Dude you can buy 'saw horses' at a home depot or another such store for very cheap to do squats/rack pulls from....some strength coaches love them also...quite cheap for well under 100$(some as cheap as 30$ or so) and many are rated for 1000+lb.

Yeah I know, but I'd still rather make my own cage for stuff like OHP. I doubt they make 5 1/2 foot tall sawhorses. Besides, I've still got a couple of weeks on the Zercher stuff, then its festival time again. I'm not in any hurry, but thanks for looking out.

I got the form down on the Z deads. I'm now able to walk up to them, get under them, and lift. I got it on film, but I need someone to edit it (it was filmed sideways) as I suck at such things (looking at w1se).
 
badass dude....big congrats! I will try to hit some decent numbers in a couple weeks. Havent done max deads in a while...

When your back is healed, I expect you to thoroughly school me in these at 400lbs.

The dungeon is my garage. I have no overhead lighting, only a single lamp. The vids were taken around midnight.
When I'm ready to move up in weight, I'll be sure to do it when its well lit.
