Finnegan's Wake

Hey Finn when do you plan to have your next fight? When are you going into the UFC and what if they put you up against Brad Morris? Oh and you never answered my last question which leads me to assume that you in fact are related to Joe Biden.

No clue when I'm going to feel like fighting again. I got offered a title fight in a local promotion that I just turned down. The cuts have barely had time to heal from the last one, and I need a break from intense, fight prep level, training.
I'm more or less taking Oct. off of thinking about when my next fight will be, so mid to late November at the earliest. The one exception to this is if I get a fight at Rage in the Cage (one of my coaches has a pro fight out there) in early November.
I've not got on geneology.com, so I'm not sure if I'm related to Biden or not.

Man, some nice work going on Fin.

I like the structure of your workouts with the pyramids and complexes etc. Looks fun.

Gee Golly, I'm glad I did my upperbody conditoning yesterday! In no way did all that shit affect me tonight. No siree.

How the hell are people not commenting on the flying omoplata?

Details?

We were pummeling in the clinch, and had wrist control on his right wrist. He ducked in for a shot and hooked a leg. I maintained wrist control and jumped, threw my leg over, and landed in an omplata with him tapping as soon as we hit.
You know, simple shit.

You can't begin to understand how happy I am right now.

How are your hands shaping up lately?

I totally missed that the first time through. That's sweet.

Well, my close game/ clinch work is getting better. I got a bit too brawlerish in my last fight dealing with the guy's height/ reach.

AM Conditioning:

Bas Rutten's Boxing CD

3 two min rounds

50 tire flips (300ish lbs tire)

I'm still around, just been a bad panda and not updated my log.

RIP Finnegan's Log

Bad Panda!!! Don't leave me!!

So, you were offered a good fight, but then offered a rematch with that guy you think you can beat, what did you decide on?

I'm fighting the better venue guy. I'm not going to be lured into a b.s. fight in a pigpuncher org. instead of a fight with a very well known promotion that, win or lose, will be better for me.
It makes zero sense for my career.
