So i finally purchased a 2004 chevy silverado 2500, crewcab, with a duramax diesel engine, i have been looking for this truck since May, every other one i found was in terrible body shape. Starts up nicely in the cold weather as well, feeling like -30 here with the wind chill and it started up within seconds. Im just happy i finally found what i was looking for, i was close to giving up and going with a dodge, i also would of gone with a Ford only if it had a 7.3 litre. Just thought i'd share with you guys lol.

How many miles are on it and how much did you pay for it ?

300,000 kms on it i got it for $8500, thats nothing for this engine, i could not belive how amazing the shape of this truck is, only a little scratch on the bumber, brand new tires with it as well

Why did it have to be a 2004? Do you use it for work as well? What kind of gas mileage does it get (L/100km)?

Cold air intake, brand new water pump, 2 brand new batterys ( yes this beast ha 2 batters lol)

Diddnt have to be an 04 i was looking for 2002-2006 , i have a cottage so it will help bring back fire wood for the house, and plus im a diesel mechanic so i wanted one and plus real trucks dont have spark plugs

City driving sucks, highway i can get it down to 13L/100kms ussually average is 15l/100kms, remember its an 8000lbs truck
