Finally getting a fight

I'm happy for your victory. You mention "bucket list" does that mean this was a one-off, or do you intend to take pro fights regularly?
I’m not sure. I got clipped and immediately thought of my family. I didn’t anticipate that. So kind of rattled me. Part of me still wants to get another one. So I’ll take a little time to settle and reassess. I’ll say maybe for now.

Total Congrats, Sherbro Kickin' Ass !

Glad to do the dog proud
We always appreciate when one of our own represents. If that is ultimately a one and done, respect for getting in there and testing your lifetime's worth of training, and coming out on top. I imagine it was a thrill.
it was over so fast I didn’t have a chance to savour it lol

Discovered this thread just yesterday but shoutout and big up @Cameron 👊 🤙great to hear you were successful and props having the balls to compete in an official fight! Thanks for sharing
Thanks brother. For me it was the last thing to do with Jiu-jitsu. I fought Gi, nogi, points, sub only, super fights, tournaments, and fought and won at every belt level. The only thing left was mma. It’s also been something I wanted to do for 19 years.

Congratulations man!

I'm curious and sorry if you've answered it already in this thread, how come it has taken you 19 years to get an MMA fight? I would have assumed Canada would be a fairly approachable location to pursue a professional fight from.
