Films with best fight Choreography

As I’m watching Kung Fu Hustle for the first time now I’m blown away by the fight choreography! It’s just so damm good! What are some of your favorite films with amazing fight choreography?

My all time fav

this is good too

If I could use people as instruments I would be so happy

Only God Forgives has some great fight scenes. The older Thai gentleman was an excellent actor.

I can't help you there. I detest watching those type movies now.

All that flashy kicks etc that wouldn't work in real life.

So many Hollywood fights would have been ended instantly with a good headbut!
Well yeah but...that’s the point of escaping to cinema isn’t it? Most things In film are unrealistic. But I do get your point.

John Wick had some good use of jujitsu

'Brotherhood of the Wolf', 2001.

* Edit: I can't pull up the fight video from YouTube. It has been removed.

I enjoyed this movie a lot when it came out. Even with Mark Dacascos playing a FN person.

Drunken master is pretty dope

Once upon a time in China.
All 3 of em
There’s like six of them but the main trilogy with jet li are awesome

Also iron monkey with Donny yen
And fist of legend with jet li were amazing when I was a kid

The Substitute. The fight scenes were great because they weren’t overly acrobatic, fast and intricate. And Tom Berenger’s character is out of breath after like 30 seconds. It’s realistic.

The Raid 2 Berandal as well id just as good as the first.

Wheels on Meals with Jackie Chan and Bennie the Jet is sublime too.

Do you mean most "realistic" fight scenes? Or just simply the choreography? If the latter, that's why I don't like martial arts/action movies.
Saving Private Ryan for the former. That's reality. One dude is begging for his life while the other dude slowly drives the knife into his chest. Ain't pretty. Ain't fancy. But it works.

As for films that have more realistic fight choreography that are still staging a ballet I think the Bond films have delivered quite a few raw scenes over the years. Connery and Shaw in the train. Brosnan and Bean in the cradle. Craig and Bautista in a train, again.

'Brotherhood of the Wolf', 2001.

Great movie, one of my all time faves. Manny!

The Raid 1 was great, except for the final bad guy boss scene where dude takes a ridiculous level of punishment. Come on now. The Raid 2 was boring.

Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais are badasses nowadays for the fight scenes, and Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White can have some great scenes too. Chan has had some legendary scenes over the years, as has Jet Li. It's hard to pick.

No one's mentioned Ip Man 1 or 2 yet, and Donny Yen does a great job in those.

For different reasons.and different fight choreography:
Ninja Assassin
Killzone 2
Rendel
Book of Eli
Snowpiercer

Basically anything with Donnie Yen.

Good picks so far. Id like to add Killzone and Flash Point.

I also think the Johnny Cage/Scorpion and Liu Kang/Reptile fights from Mortal Kombat had good choreography.
